THE PHILOSOPHERS

flying 3.png

Greek philosophy began in the sixth century BC. Greek philosophy pervades a vast array of subjects, one of which is law. Greek philosophy is well-known for the indisputable influence it has had on Western thought. Although Greek philosophers existed before to their respective births, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle are the most prominent, and we chose them to represent the courses we provide and the many phases of training required to become a lawyer.

BAR COURSE

Bar courses are referred to variably depending on where you study ('ICCA Bar Course,' 'Bar Practice Course,' 'Barrister Training Course,' and so on). All Bar courses, however, are examined similarly and result in the same postgraduate diploma required to be 'called to the Bar.' The following is a partial (non-exhaustive) list of subjects that we have previously taught to some of our students:

SOLICITOR QUALIFICATION EXAM

We offer teaching in SQE1, where students will be tested on 'functional legal knowledge,' which measures the application of law through multiple choice questions based on genuine client-based scenarios. The tests will cover subjects from your law degree or conversion course, as well as those covered in stage 1 of the LPC's vocational practise areas. Two lengthy multiple-choice tests, each with 180 questions, will cover all topics covered in the SQE1 course. Prior to sitting for the SQE2 tests, you must pass SQE1. Buy your first session today and find out how we can assist you.

We also assist students in preparing for the SQE2 examination (formally the LPC), which is required to qualify as a solicitor, in which they will be assessed on the practical legal abilities necessary for practise, including:
